Lacy Stephens, Program Manager with the U.S. National Farm to School Network (NFSN), works to expand the farm to school and farm to early care and education (ECE) movement through information sharing, network building, and advocacy at the national, state, and local levels. Lacy frequently presents farm to school/ECE trainings at national conferences and has a particular interest in farm to school and food systems research. She has led or coordinated notable national research projects including the 2015 and 2018 National Farm to Early Care and Education Surveys and a farm to school economic benchmarking study. Lacy coordinates the NFSN Farm to Early Care and Education Working Group and NFSN Farm to School Research Committee, serves on the Child and Adult Care Food Program National Advisory Council, and is President of the Montana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Based in Bozeman, Montana, Lacy is a registered dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Food Systems.
